Kolhapuri Masala

15 Minutes.

Ingredients:

1) 1 cup dry red chillies    
2)  ½ cup grated dry coconut
3)  1 tbsp Cumin Seeds
4)  1 tbsp Coriander
5)   2 tbsp sesame seeds
6)  1 tsp fenugreek seeds (Methidana)
7)  1 tsp Mustard seeds  
8)  1 tsp black pepper
9) 1 tsp oil
10) 1 tsp cloves
11)  2 bay leaves
12)  ½ tsp nutmeg powder
13)  2 tsp red chilli powder

Method:

Mix all ingredients except red chilli powder and nutmeg powder.

Drizzle oil and coat all spieces by mixing well.

Roast all spieces over medium high heat till golden.

Do not roast to much, otherwise spices will burn.

Transfer roasted spices to a big plate. Let them cool completely.

Grind it to a fine powder.

Add nutmeg and red chilli powder. Mix well.

Put this masala in clean container.
