Green Peas Usal


Time:  
15 Minutes 
Serves for 2.

Ingredients:

1) 1 cup green peas
2) 2 tsp oil  
3) Turmeric powder
4) 1 patato
5) 2 tsp Malvani Masala
6) 1 Onion 
7) 1 cup grated coconut
8) 7-8 Curry Leaves
9) Coriander Leaves
10) Salt as per taste.

Method:

Heat oil in pan add curry leaves and chopped onion stir it till light brown.

Once onion done add green peas and potato cubes.

Add masala, turmeric powder stir it and add little water.

Cover and cook on slow flame till green peas and potato are cooked.

By the time other side take oil in kadai. Add chopped onion stir it till golden brown.

Add grated coconut and make coconut masala.

Keep aside for cool, blend it and make fine paste of it.

Add this paste to peas and potato.

Add salt and cook for few more minutes.

Garnish with coriander leaves.

Serve with hot chapatti.
