Bharli Bhendi

Serves for 2.

Ingredients:

1) 20-22 Medium sized Okra
2) 2 Cups grated fresh coconuts
3) 2 tbsp Peanuts crush 
4) 4 green chillies
5) ½ tsp cumin and coriander powder
6) 3 tbsp Oil
7) Turmeric Powder
8) ½ tsp lemon juice
9) Coriander Leaves
10) Salt as per taste

Method:

Wash and clean okra with water. Dry with clean cloth.

Cut the tips off on both the sides. Slit each okra from one side.

Do not cut into pieces.

For stuffing in a mixing bowl add grated coconut, peanuts crush, green chillies, cumin seeds and coriander seeds powder, turmeric powder, coriander leaves grind it all together and make a fine paste.

Add salt and lemon juice in above mixture.

Stuff this mixture in each okra.

Heat oil add stuffed okra one by one carefully.

Turn the heat low, cover with lid and the okra cook.

When okra is cooked add remaining mixture of coconut.


Serve hot chapatti or you can also serve as a side dish.
