White vatana Usal


Time:  

15 Minutes (Except Soaking Time)
Serve for 2.

Ingredients:
1) 1 Cup soaked vatana  
2) 2 tbsp oil
3) Turmeric powder
4)
 2 tsp Malvani Masala
5) 1chopped onion
6) 1 cup grated coconut 
7) 7-8 Curry Leaves
8) Coriander Leaves
9) Salt as per taste

Method:

Soak vatana for 6-7 hours.

Pressure cook.

Do not overcook otherwise it will become tasteless.

In a heated pan add oil and curry patta.

Add chopped onion.

Fry onion utill golden brown.

Add vatana stir it well.

Add little water and malvani masala.

Put lid and let it cook for another 5 minutes on low medium flame.

At the otherside in a pan add little oil and chopped onion fry until it get transparent.

Add grated coconut fry until golden brown.

Keep side for cool down.

Make fine paste of it. Add it to vatana.

Add salt and coriander leaves.

Serve hot with chapatti or pav as per your choice.
