Papad in Marathi

Ingredients:

1)1/2 kg black gram flour  (udad dal)
2)1/2 tsp cumin seeds  
3)1/2 tsp ajwain
4)1/4 tsp soda                 
5) Salt as per taste
6) 4 table spoons oil

Method:

Add all ingredients except oil and mix wel.

Bind together to form a very hard dough by adding water.

Cover with cloth and keep aside for at least 2 hours or more than that.

After 2 hours apply little oil and knead the dough  by
Hammering with heavy pestle to make it soft.

Make small small equal size balls.

Roll out each ball on rolling board.

Apply oil if papad tends to stick on rolling board.

Do not apply dry flour while rolling the papad on rolling board.

Dry the papa in direct sunlight, until they becomes dry.

Remove from sunlight as soon as they are dry enough,
Otherwise they will crack.
