Badam Kheer

Serves  for 2.

Ingredients:

1)25-30 Almonds (badam) 
2)1 litter Milk  
3)1/4 cup water
4)1/2 cup sugar
5)3-4 crushed green cardamoms
6)10 saffron
s

Methods:

Soak almonds for 15-20 minutes in warm water. 

Peel the skin and grind the almonds to a fine paste adding water.

Bring the milk to boil in a vessel and add sugar, almond paste.

Keep stirring on medium heat until milk is reduced.

Add cardamoms and stir it. Turn of the heat.

Soak saffron in some warm milk.

Add saffron to the kheer.

Refrigerate and serve cold.
