Vatana Bhat

Ingredients:

1)1 and ½ cup Basmati rice
2)3/4 Green peas
3) 3 cup water
4)1 onion
5)Turmeric powder
6)5-6 Curry Leaves
7)Ginger Garlic Paste
8)Cumin and mustard 1Tsp of each  
9)Pinch of (Hing) asafoetida
10)2 spoon Malvani Masala
11)2 spoon Ghee
12)2 Tej patta
13)4-5 Black Pepper
14)Coriander Leaves
15)Salt as per taste
16)Grated Coconut for garnishing

Method:

Wash the rice. Drain and keep aside for ½ hour.
Heat ghee in a cooker.  When hot add cumin and mustard seeds
When its crackle add curry leaves, asafoetida, tej patta, black pepper, green chilly, ginger garlic paste.
Add rice and green pease mix well. Add malvani masala, salt until the rice is well coated.   
Add hot water, cover cooker with lid and cook until rice is done.
Garnish with Coriander Leaves and Grind-ed Coconut.
